I am an engineer and data-scientist currently focused on model based systems engineering and architecture design within industrial manufacturing environments that reflect interoperability and scalability of industry 4.0. My background can be summarized in two main folds, one rather model-based where at least some crude models of the problem at hand is available which my academic background also revolves more around, and one rather model-free where problems don’t render explicit/tractable models and appreciate data-driven approaches which most of my research and publications involve. Robotics being the core of my background for both the above paradigms has involved two scenarios for me so far: 1: low level and generic software developement and architecture design 2: use-case specific solution design, especially for industrial costomers. The past years however my endeavor has encompassed a rather bigger picture around robotics-cells. This involves for example the overall orchestration of manufacturing mechanisms and the relevant data ecosystems for them, digital-twin standards, and overall production domains where any automation unit must work in harmony with reliability and adaptability.
In summary, I thrive in interdisciplinary domains, with a strong focus on robotics, software development, data science, metrology, optimization, and R&D.
